1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Slash Social, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Slash Social. These Terms apply to all users of Slash Social, including individuals, teams, and organizations.
2. Description of Service
Slash Social is an AI-powered social media management platform that operates within Slack. Slash Social enables users to:
- Generate content for social media posts using AI
- Plan and schedule posts across multiple social media platforms
- Approve and manage posts through Slack
- Post to Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, and Facebook
- Track analytics and performance metrics
- Manage inbox and engagement across platforms
3. Account Requirements
- You must have a valid Slack workspace to use Slash Social.
- You must be authorized to install applications in your Slack workspace.
- You must have valid accounts on the social media platforms you wish to connect to Slash Social.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Slack workspace and social media account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use Slash Social.
4. User Responsibilities
- Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content you create, approve, or post through Slash Social. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to post such content.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and terms of service of the social media platforms you use with Slash Social.
- Prohibited Content: You agree not to use Slash Social to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or violates any third-party rights.
- Platform Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that content posted through Slash Social complies with each platform's terms of service, community guidelines, and content policies.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high availability of Slash Social but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Slash Social at any time with or without notice.
- We are not liable for any downtime, interruptions, or service failures.
6. AI Content Generation
- Slash Social uses AI to generate content suggestions. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or may not be suitable for your purposes.
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before it is posted.
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or comply with your requirements or any platform's policies.
- You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be similar to content generated for other users.
7. Third-Party Platforms
- Slash Social integrates with third-party platforms including Slack, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, and Facebook.
- Your use of these third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
- We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or terms of third-party platforms.
- We may be required to comply with third-party platform policies and may suspend or terminate access to certain platforms if required.
8. Intellectual Property
- Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to content you create or post through Slash Social. By using Slash Social, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
- Our IP: Slash Social, including all software, features, designs, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Slash Social without our prior written consent.
- AI Training: You grant us permission to use your content and usage data to train and improve our AI models and services.
9. Payment and Billing
- If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription.
- Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as specified in your subscription plan.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our refund policy.
- We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice to existing customers.
- If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your access to Slash Social.
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slash Social is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that Slash Social will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of Slash Social.
- Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slash Social and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of Slash Social
- Content you create, post, or approve through Slash Social
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws
12. Termination
- You may terminate your use of Slash Social at any time by uninstalling the app from your Slack workspace.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to Slash Social at any time, with or without cause or notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity.
- Upon termination, your right to use Slash Social will immediately cease.
- We may delete your account data within 30 days of termination, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
13. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
- We will notify you of material changes to these Terms through Slack or email.
- Your continued use of Slash Social after changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
- If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using Slash Social.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Slash Social operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or Slash Social shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
- You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Slash Social.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
